Samrai Guest Mix for the BPM showcase, Unity FM

DJ Darka kindly had me in as a guest on the BPM Showcase, Unity FM 92.8fm Manchester to tie in with the release of Head Gone.  After an interview about Swing Ting parties, releases and forthcoming projects I got in the mix with a few current favourites.

ROBN - Swingtinghype Exclusive Mixtape

Tight ST exclusive Mixtape from ROBN, one half of the Infamous WIFEY radio / rave unit to whet your appetite for this Saturday's Swing Ting at Soup Kitchen featuring the boys alongside the equally notorious one-them calll Marcus N.A.S.T.Y.

Photo by Tamasine aka Angie Steppah

A perfect taster for our sonic palette, the selection warms in with a couple of dancehall / bashment numbers before touching rude, slinky and classic to upfront uk funky / 4x4 and garage selections from the likes of Hard House Banton / Jook 10  and Martin Kemp. The summery vocal gem 'Be In Love' from Funk Butcher and Mr Nasty acts as blissful centre-piece to the mix, followed by 5kinandbone5, Roska and Razzlerman joints, finally winding down fittingly with jams from Grant Nelson and Omar S..  Deep and Deadly.
